Only a month and a half away and so much to do but we are in really good shape and really excited about a fun night out to help raise awareness about Usher Syndrome, and generate proceeds to help find a cure for blindness. We have had tons of support from friends,
family, and our community and we are so lucky to have them all! We have secured so many great raffle items and Jake has been down in the woodshop finishing up his Adirondack chairs, corn hole boards, and hand-turned pens.
The fundraiser will be held at the middleboro elks club on 4/29/17. More info – Usher Syndrome Fundraiser
We are figuring this out as we go and hope that you will join us and make this a huge success. It seems like a tall order but researchers are so close to finding a cure for many forms of blindness and we are very encouraged and hopeful that our sweet Beccs world will not fade into darkness. Your help in supporting this cause is so important to our family and the families of so many others that face this same reality, so please come out for a
great cause and a fun night. All of the proceeds will be donated directly to the Foundation Fighting Blindness to help fund research and support clinical trials. See the video below for some of the great work currently underway at the FFB.
We have some pretty great raffle items from the MEZZA LUNA RESTAURANT in Bourne, Wildwood Day Spa in Middleboro, The Mirrored Image Photography, New Concepts Hair Salon (Stacey Onges) also in Middleboro, Belle Visage Beauty Spa in Milton, Rachael Alchorn Photography, Metivier Glassworks, and a pair of Red Sox tickets! Ken from KJ Tunes (www.kj-tunes.com) will be providing entertainment! We are so grateful to everyone who has donated not only items, but also their time for this event! We will also have many baskets that are being put together and donated by some amazing people!
We are so thankful for your support, and we can’t wait to see you on April 29th!!
